The Director's House

The family keeps two houses. The original stands in Turon, where Lynleit lived with her mother during junior school. After her mother's death, Fionn moved the family to Vilen for better access to the capital. The Vilen house is a three-floor residence whose offices, library, and discreet working rooms also support MSF operations.

Family history

Two houses, one family history

Behind the house, a compact private park descends toward the river-facing edge of the hill. Thick vegetation and mature trees surround the residence closely enough for wind in the leaves and branches to remain part of its daily sound. Below, the river flows toward Vilen's city center. Lynleit regards flowing water as life energy: its movement gives her emotional grounding even though she has feared drowning since childhood.

A desk between trees and water

After the family moved from Turon to Vilen, Lynleit made a third-floor study-bedroom her condition for accepting the new house. Its height lets her look beyond the trees toward the river while she works. Wind moving through leaves and branches gives the room the natural sound she finds most inspiring.

Glass-enclosed rooms

The rear side of the first floor opens into glass-enclosed relaxation areas facing dense greenery. In summer they extend domestic life among the trees. In winter the same rooms preserve the sight and sound of the landscape while protecting everyone inside from cold, rain, and wind.

Private meetings and administrative work take place in offices within the house.
